My name is Callum Maguire, and I have been building worlds since I had the ability to speak. I didn't have a name for what I was doing until just a few years ago, and most of my worlds were either basically fan-fiction or some bizarre amalgamations of other works. It wasn't until I got a bit older than I began to try and build my own worlds in earnest. I have tried to organize my thoughts in several different formats, to mixed results. I'm hoping that this blog will allow me to cultivate my ideas for a number of different worlds. To be honest, I don't think anyone other than me is ever going to actually see this, it's mostly just for my sake. But most of what I write here will be directed to you, the for the most part imaginary reader. The moon gleamed bright over the forest, as the sounds of the evil that was stirring rung out through the trees. A foul creature stalked the underbrush, searching for some unfortunate soul to feast upon, and a man clad in silver followed it. He bore a shield and a mace, both silvered and glimmering unnaturally in the moonlight. His eyes shown like moons themselves, as they scanned through the trees, anticipating the beast's next move. Silas Salhada had been tracking this monster for some time, and he had finally cornered it in these woods. He had set up wards among the trees earlier that would prevent the beast from passing, funneling it into its death. As Silas strode forward, a twig snapped under his foot, and the creature suddenly lashed out towards the sound. There was just enough time for Silas to raise his shield to block the claws of the creature, and he wasted no more time bringing his mace to strike the monster in the jaw.
